This Court, on 30.05.2024 interfered the order passed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.10861 of 2024 in Crl.A.No.270 of 2024 and directed the petitioner herein to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the credit of C.C.No.67 of 2021 on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.1 (Full Additional Charge), Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai, within a period of four weeks as a pre-condition for granting suspension of sentence.

2. The petitioner herein unable to deposit the said amount within a period of four weeks. Hence, the present Crl.M.P.No.10667 of 2024 filed seeking extension of time to comply the order. To prove his bonafide, the petitioner has produced demand draft for Rs.2,00,000/- drawn in favour of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai on 30.07.2024.

3. In the light of the above fact, time granted by this Court to comply the order is extended. The petitioner shall deposit the demand draft before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, within five working days and seek for redressal.

4. With this observation, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
