O R D E R
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the 3rd respondent to take action on the representation dated 25.12.2013 of the writ petitioner and prevent the 5th respondent from interfering with the petitioner's business operation by granting sufficient police protection for running a bar-cumeatery at TASMAC Retail Vending Liquor Shop No.521, No.1, South Boag Road, T.Nagar, Chennai - 600 017.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner now states that the relief as sought for need not be considered in view of long lapse of time. However, the learned counsel for the writ petitioner pleaded that the caution deposit made by the writ petitioner is now lying with the respondents. However, there is no such prayer as sought for in the present writ petition. Thus, the writ petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation for the purpose of redressal of this grievances to the respondent and in any event receiving any such representation, the respondents are at liberty to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders.
3. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
