ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed challenging the FIR in Crime No.213 of 2021, pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. 2.When the matter came up for hearing on 11.8.2023, this Court passed the following order:

The first respondent was investigating Crime Nos.213 and 214 of 2021. Even on an earlier occasion, Crime No.213 of 2021 became a subject matter of challenge in Crl.OP. No.5532 of 2022.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 01.09.2022, this Court disposed of the petition on the ground that the investigation has been completed and hence, this Court directed the final report to be filed within a period of one month.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date no final report has been filed and the case is kept pending. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor shall take instructions from the respondent police and inform this Court as to what happened in to investigation in Crime Nos. 213 and 214 of 2021. Post this case under the caption "For Orders" on 29.08.2023.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the investigation has been completed in both Crime Nos.213 and 214 of 2021. Insofar as Crime No.213 of 2021 is concerned, the final report was taken on filed by the Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi in C.C.No.215 of 2023. Insofar as Crime No.214 of 2021 is concerned, the same was also taken on file by the Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi in C.C.No.216 of 2023. 4.Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this criminal original petition is closed. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the final report filed before the Court below, it is left open to the petitioners to workout their remedy in accordance with law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
