PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the Respondents for the willful disobedience of the order dated 27.02.2019 passed in W.A.No. 389 of 2019 on the file of this Court.

O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Collector, Krishnagiri, dated 16.12.2020, wherein it has been stated that the order passed by the Bench has been given effect to, subject to the orders to be passed in the review application filed.

2. As on today, the review application has not been numbered nor any appeal is filed. It appears that the review application is filed with an application to condone the delay. Be that as it may, once an order is passed on 16.12.2020, the petitioner is entitled for the benefits.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the benefits due to the petitioner in tune with the order dated 16.12.2020 will be given to him within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed. Obviously, the order passed by the respondent/Contemnor and the order

passed by us in this Contempt Petition are subject to the orders to be passed in the review petition said to have been filed.
