This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 09.05.2025 followed the letter of the petitioner's counsel dated 17.11.2025 and also further representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2026.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 09.05.2025 followed the letter of the petitioner's counsel dated 17.11.2025 and also further representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2026."

2. The petitioner joined the respondents department as Typist on 23.05.2012 and her probation was declared on 29.06.2015. Therefore, the petitioner became eligible for promotion to the post of Assistant in the panel drawn for the year 2015. However, the same has not been done. Therefore, the petitioner made several representations in this regard. However, no action was taken on the part of the respondents, constraining the petitioner to approach this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2026 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
