The respondent/husband though served, has not chosen to appear before this Court either in person or through counsel duly instructed.

2. The wife seeks transfer of H.M.O.P.No.214 of 2021 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Mayiladuthurai to the Family Court, Chennai.

3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner is a resident of Vandalur in Chengalpattu which is not within the jurisdiction of the Family Court at Chennai. Therefore, the request for transfer to Family Court, Chennai may not be just. However, considering the distance between Mayiladuthurai and Vandalur and convenience of the petitioner/wife, H.M.O.P.No.214 of 2021 on the file of the Principal sub Court, Mayiladuthurai https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is withdrawn and transferred to the Principal Sub Court, Chengalpattu to be tried and disposed of in accordance with law. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
