O R D E R

The respondent in H.M.O.P.No. 36 of 2016 on the file of Subordinate Court, Ranipet, is the petitioner in this transfer petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. The petitioner is a resident of Porur. The respondent instituted proceedings in H.M.O.P.No. 36 of 2016 before the Subordinate Court, Ranipet, praying for a decree of divorce. 4.

According to the petitioner, she being a resident of Porur, it would not be possible for her to travel to Ranipet, for the purpose of defending the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No. 36 of 2016 pending before the Subordinate Court, Ranipet. 5.There is nothing on record to disbelieve the case pleaded by the petitioner. The petitioner has produced sufficient materials justifying her request for transfer. I am therefore of the view that the matter requires transfer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6.In the result, the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No. 36 of 2016 is withdrawn from the file of Subordinate Court, Ranipet and is transferred to the file of Subordinate Court, Poonamallee, for disposal on merits.

7.The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as indicated above.

No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
