The prayer in the Writ Petition is for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to release the Sale Deed registered as Document No.3142 of 2002 before the Office of the Sub Registrar, Kodambakkam, after receiving the difference amount of Stamp duty by conferring the benefit as per G.O.Ms.No.95 of the Commercial Taxes Department dated 23.04.2007. 2.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits or the claim projected by the petitioner, this Court passes the following order :- The first respondent is hereby directed to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2006, in the light of the Government Order passed in G.O.Ms.No.95, Commercial Taxes and Registration (J1) Department, dated 23.04.2007 and pass a reasoned order, with regard to the release of sale deed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
