By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd Respondents to settle one time payments of the entire retirement benefits of the petitioner enhanced dearness allowances with arrears, the terminal benefits due to him as on the date such as Gratuity + Provident Fund + Commutation and other attendant benefits and enhanced dearness allowances and monthly pension along with 18% interest on delayed payment from 31.05.2025 to till the date of disbursement of the terminal benefits to the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has joined in the Respondents-Transport Corporation on 24.07.2000 and on attaining the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 31.05.2025. Thereafter, he has sent representations to the respondents on 01.06.2025 and 04.06.2025 to regularise him and to give a terminal benefits.
5. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.
6. In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 01.06.2025 and 04.06.2025 3/6
and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
