ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the first and second respondents to give police protection for the petitioner and his family members and for a further direction not to disturb with the possession and enjoyment of the property pending the suit in O.S.No.165 of 2023, on the file of District Munsif Court, Erode.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, an enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.130 of 2023 by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Erode Town. After hearing the parties, the CSR was closed and the parties 2/4

were directed to work out their remedies in the Civil Court on 25.06.2023.

4. In view of the above, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the Civil Court in the pending suit in O.S.No.165 of 2023. It is also made clear that the police will not interfere in this dispute and the parties will have to agitate their dispute only before the Civil Court. The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
