This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 74 days in filing the main appeal arising out of the judgment dated 27.01.2025 in SC.No.375/2017 on the file of the learned XVIII Additional District Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the aforesaid delay of 74 days is condoned and this petition is ordered.
