The petition has been filed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2024.
2. The petitioner herein to give awareness to the public about the mischief of MLM Company has come forward to issue direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation registered in Crime No.9 of 2024 which is under investigation by Economic Offence Wing, Chennai.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) states that the complaint which was originally registered by CCB, Coimbatore now got transferred to Economic Offence Wing, Chennai and an Officer in the Rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police is monitoring the investigation. Around 2500 Crores of rupees is involved in the money circulation and as of now investigation indicates that 2190 Crores returned to the investors and 118 Crores have been freezed and further investigation has been conducted.

4. Recording the progress in the investigation, this Court disposed of the Criminal Original Petition filed by a third party in the public interest.
