ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.08.2021 for the offence under Sections 39(1)(b), 39 3(a), 44, 49 B, 50, 52, 51, 57 of Wild Life Protection Act, 1972 in W.L.O.R.No.08 of 2021 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 2.It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioners along with the other accused are alleged to have been involved in selling ivory.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and would further submit that the Tusk of the elephant was possessed by A1 and A2 and these petitioners are only friends of A1 and A2.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the investigation is in preliminary stage and some of the accused are yet to be secured.

5.Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioners and the fact that the offence committed by the petitioners is serious one, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. 6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. -sd/- 21/10/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
