O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondent to consider his online application dated 06.06.2024 and issue necessary orders for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Plot No.24 (Old No.11), New Secretariat Colony, Kilpauk, Chennai in R.S.No.3180/1, Block No.555, T.S.No.L.A.No.8/72 ad measuring about 1458 Sq.ft land and superstructure about 1320 Sq.ft.

It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the above said property from one Nachiamani by registered sale deed dated 28.02.2005 and he has been in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the suit property from the date of purchase. He applied for transfer of patta in his name by online application dated 06.06.2024 in Application No.2024/0153/02/023694. The said application has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court by way of writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 2/4

respondent submitted that the online application of the petitioner will be considered and necessary orders will be passed within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 06.06.2024 and pass final orders on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
