ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.10.2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 395, 397 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.1588 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant is that the petitioners along with others robbed Rs.15,000/- from the defacto complainant's friend namely Selvakumar by threatening him with knife.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this. He would further submit that the petitioners have been suffering incarceration for more than one month from 21.10.2020. He would further submit that A1 and A2 have been released on bail. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would vehemently oppose stating that the petitioners along with others robbed Rs.15,000/- from the friend of the defacto complainant namely Selvakumar by brandishing knife. He would further submit that the petitioners have got one previous case to their credit.

5.Considering the grave nature of the offence and the circumstances of the offence committed and the antecedents of the petitioner, I am declined to grant bail the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
