This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.907 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, Mr.R.Sathish, P.C., M1 Madhavaram Police Station is present before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR and the fact that the FIR was registered as early as on 26.04.2017, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.907 of 2017 within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided there is no other legal impediment, either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
