ORDER

To quash the case in crime No.89 of 2022 dated 23.04.2022 on the file of the 1st respondent, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that in this case, this Court has granted interim stay of all further proceedings in Crime No.89 of 2022. However, the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed the final report.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the interim stay has not been extended further and not been intimated. In any event, having completed the investigation, the final report filed on 13.10.2023 before the Learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet but it was not taken on file.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
