O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by M.Jaichandren, J.) Heard the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2. The petitioner, who is the father of the detenue, has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition, seeking production of his daughter, namely, Ajantha, who had been missing from
10.6.2016, before this Court.
3. As the petitioner's daughter had been missing on 10.6.2016, the petitioner had lodged a complaint on 10.6.2016, before the first respondent and the same had been registered, in Cr.No.1531 of 2016, on 13.6.2016.
3. The petitioner has stated that his daughter had been taken away by the third respondent and she had been kept in his illegal custody.
4. Today, this matter is listed for 'Admission'. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the first and the second respondents had placed before this Court, a copy of the letter written by the detenue, dated 13.6.2016, along with a copy of the Certificate of Registration of Marriage, dated 13.6.2016.
5. In the said letter, it is stated that she had married the third respondent, on 13.6.2016, and the said marriage had also been registered in the Joint Sub Registrar's Office-II, Cuddalore, on the same day.
6. It has also been stated, in the said letter, that she is living with the third respondent, happily.
In such circumstances, this Court is of view that no further orders are necessary in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. Sd/- ASST.
