..Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to transfer/issue a separate patta for survey Nos.159/7, 266/1A and 160/2A in Avadathur Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District in the name of the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 06.05.2015, 17.11.2015, 28.12.2015, 14.03.2016.

ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner submitted an application seeking for sub-division of patta transfer vide Can.No.0330809034806 and application No.2016/0105/08/003492 vide application dated 14.03.2016 and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that along with the said application, necessary fees have also been paid and despite that, no orders have been passed and therefore, the petitioner is constrained https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to approach this Court by filing the present writ petition.

This Court heard the submissions of Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 14.03.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the person/s concerned and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the person/s concerned.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
