By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents to implement fully the G.O.(MS).No.446 Revenue and Disaster Management (Ser.7(1)) Department dated 23.10.2024 passed by the 1st respondent and by calculating the service benefits, monetary benefits, which include pension also from the date of the petitioners' passing the qualifying test from the year 1980 onwards within a reasonable time that may be stipulated by this Court. 2/6

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in order to implement the above said Government Order, the petitioners have sent a representation on 06.05.2025 to the respondents. According to the petitioners, in pursuance of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.3842 of 2018 etc., batch, dated 28.04.2022, the petitioners were given benefit for regularisation and for a differential amount which was contested by the respondents by preferring writ appeals in W.A.No.2550 of 2024 etc., batch. During the pendency of the writ appeals, the petitioners had preferred contempt petition in Cont.P.No.2061 of 2023. Hence, subject to the outcome of the writ appeals, they have to be complied with the direction of this Court.

5. Now, the prayer sought for by the petitioner is that to implement the above Government Order in G.O.(MS).No.446 Revenue and Disaster Management (Ser.7(1)) Department dated 23.10.2024. Absolutely this Court cannot issue such direction to the respondents, as the Government Order 3/6

itself had categorically stated that the above GO is issued subject to the outcome of the judgment in W.A.No.2550 of 2024 etc., batch.

6. In such view of the matter, this Court does not find any merits in the present writ petition. In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed. 30.06.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order dm 4/6
