ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police, for one reason or other, calling the petitioner at odd hours and thereby, harassing the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner is a heart patient and due to the harassment of the respondent police, he is unable to take care of his health.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner is a History Sheeted rowdy in H.S.No.304 of 2008 and he has got 10 cases up to the year 2011. Recently, the petitioner is facing trial in C.C.No.18 of 2021 for the offences under Section 170, 171, 352, 457 and 380 IPC, in which, a Non Bailable Warrant was issued by the Judicial Magistrate, Vadapalani. Inspector of Police, Karippatti Police Station had gone to the residence of the petitioner.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that according to the petitioner, no Non-Bailable Warrant is pending.
5. Considering the said submission, this Court finds that only in order to execute the Non Bailable Warrant, the respondent police had visited the petitioner's house, which same cannot be termed as an harassment and hence this Criminal Original Petition is liable to be dismissed.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
