This petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that it is a dispute between the petitioner/landlord and the tenant, which is civil in nature. Further, a civil suit is also pending between them. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent Police is unnecessarily harassing him in the civil dispute. Hence, the petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the complaints of the petitioner and the counter petitioner, case in Crime Nos.979 of 2021 and 980 of 2021 have been registered. Subsequently, Crime No.981 of 2021 has been registered under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. and the case has been referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer. Now, the Revenue Divisional Officer is ready to commence the enquiry.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
