By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to receive and register the Release Deed dated 14.03.2025 comprised in No.T.SNo.2/2-Punja, measuring 0.95 1⁄2 cents (0.38.65 Hectres) situated at Ambur Town, West Krishnapuram. 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner's father Viswanathan is the owner of the subject property and after his demise, the said property devolved upon his 7 legal heirs including petitioners. Except the petitioners, 5 other legal heirs executed a release deed dated 14.03.2025, releasing their 5/7th share in the subject property. It is further submitted that petitioner submitted a Release Deed 2/6

dated 14.03.2025 before the 2nd respondent for registration and the same was refused without assigning any reason.

4.At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that the present writ petition is premature and that the petitioners had not even presented/submitted the Released Deed dated 14.03.2025 for registration and if the petitioner submits/presents the Release Deed, the same would be registered if it is otherwise in order. If for any reason, there is a need for refusal of registration of the Release Deed, they would do so after assigning reason by issuing a refusal slip, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5.Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law.
