ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the letter/mail dated 10.7.2024, by which, the second respondent rejected the application of the petitioner on the ground that there was a mismatch between the name of the sponsoring industry and the industry, to which, some of the documents belong.
2. Heard the learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

(i) The petitioner is a minor. Pursuant to the Notification issued by the first respondent inviting applications for admission for the academic year 2024-25 through the online portal, the third respondent sponsored the name of the petitioner for admission to the undergraduate course in the faculty of Information and Communication Engineering and the petitioner also applied for B.E./B.Tech course in the respondent university.
(ii) As there was a mismatch in the credentials of the third respondent, there was a delay in uploading the EPF registration by the third respondent. However, to her shock and surprise, the second respondent rejected the application of the petitioner on 10.07.2024 without affording an opportunity. Aggrieved by that, the petitioner is before this Court.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the respondents 1 and 2 confused themselves that Amaze Infotech is a different entity and Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt Ltd is a different entity. In fact, Amaze Infotech is a division of Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt Ltd., and both are same entities. Hence, the rejection order passed by the 2nd respondent is per se unsustainable. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submitted that the petitioner in his application mentioned that Amaze Infotech is a division of Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt Ltd. However, a perusal of the website reveals that Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt Ltd., is situated at Rosy Towers, 1st Floor, No.13, Nungambakkam High Road, Chennai - 600 034, whereas the GST registration certificate reveals that the Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt Ltd., is situated at 25, Anna University Campus, Gandhi Mandapam Road, Kotturpuram, Chennai. Apart from that, no proof or GST number is available in respect of Amaze Infotech. In the absence of any proof, it cannot be construed that Amaze Infotech is a division of Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt Ltd. Accordingly, he prays for dismissal of the writ petition.
6. This Court has carefully considered the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record and more particularly the impugned rejection letter.
7. While it is the case of the petitioner that Amaze Infotech is a Page No.4 of 6
division of Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt. Ltd., however, it is countered by the respondents by saying that the GST registration of both the entities do not tally and so also the address and there is no other proof connecting the two entities to be a single common entity. Therefore, there is a dispute, with regard to Amaze Infotech being a division of Amaze Education Consultancy India Pvt. Ltd., which cannot be deliberated by this Court in the present writ petition.
8. Be that as it may. The application of the petitioner was rejected on 10.07.2024 and the entire selection process has already gotten over in the first week of August 2024 and the first phase counselling is also over. Now, the second phase of counselling is under process. It is also ascertained that no vacant seats are available in the respondent university as on date. Hence, no purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending. The petitioner can very well apply for the course during the next academic year, by clearing all the ambiguities and placing the requisite materials.

9. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. It is needless to point out that the petitioner can apply for the course during the next academic year by placing the requisite materials. No costs.
