This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been settled between the petitioner and the owner of the share auto, long back. Under the guise of the complaint, the Police is harassing the petitioner. Therefore, he seeks direction from this Court.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that one Balamurugan has given a complaint and the petitioner is not cooperating for enquiry on the complaint.

5. Considering the rival submissions of both sides, the respondent Police is directed to enquire the complaint and dispose of the same expeditiously without harassing the petitioner.
