ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 26.07.2025, wherein the petitioner is seeking for rectification of the name of the father of the petitioner and also to include the name of the brother in the legal heirship certificate that was issued by the third respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the legal heirship certificate has already been cancelled by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Krishnagiri through proceedings dated 23.01.2025 based on the appeal filed by one Iliaz Khan. Therefore, it was submitted that there is no legal heirship certificate available as on date.

3. In view of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. It is left open to the petitioner to submit a fresh application before the third respondent by following the procedure and the same will be considered on its own merits and in accordance 2/4

with law.
