This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.441 of 2013.
2. Heard both sides.
3. It is averred in the petition that the investigation in Crime No.441 of 2013 for offences under Section 419, 468, 471 and 420 IPC r/s 34 IPC, has not been done effectively and charge sheet is yet to be filed. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present petition.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there are totally 11 accused in this case. Out of them, 6 accused have been arrested. He further submits that about 10 witnesses have been examined. He seeks further time to expedite the investigation.
5. Considering the date of registration of the case and also the slow progress of the investigation, this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
