ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to transfer the petitioner from Panchayath Union Middle School, Settiyakadu, Karuppampulam, Veadarnyam Taluk, Nagapattinam to Kadinavayil centre No.72, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.09.2020.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner who is handicapped, having 40% of disability, was appointed as a Noon Meal organizer at Panchayath Union Middle School, Settiyakadu, Karuppampulam Veadarnyam Taluk, Nagapaiitnam on 17.11.2011 as per the orders of this Court. While being so, the petitioner has made a representation on 15.09.2019 to the 2st respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transfer him in the place of Kadinalvayal Centre No.72, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District which is vacant at present. Since the 2nd respondent has not taken any steps on his representation, the petitioner met the 1st respondent on 03.02.2020 with regard to his transfer. Thereafter since there is no reply on his request, again he made a representation on 28.09.2020 to the 1st respondent. But, the 1st respondent did not pass any orders on his representation till now, the petitioner preferred this writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is having 40% of disability and as the Petitioner's representation is already pending with the authorities concerned, this Court directs the 1st Respondent herein to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2020 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
