This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the 2nd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.129 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is averred in the petition that a case was registered on 21.05.2016 in Crime No.129 of 2016 under Sections 147, 148, 447, 448, 427, 324 and 506[ii] IPC and there is no progress in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the investigation. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for direction.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation is in progress.

5. Considering the date of registration of the case and also the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent Police to investigate the case in Crime No.129 of 2016 and file final report expeditiously.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
