This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to register a First Information Report pursuant to the order 1/4

passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Jeyankondam, in Crl.M.P.No.1035 of 2020, dated 09.09.2020.

2. Heard Mr.M.Pari, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent.

3. It is seen from the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate that the earlier closure report was not entertained by the learned Magistrate and the respondent police was directed to conduct further investigation and file a report within two months. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the further report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate on 03.05.2023.

4. In view of the above, it is left open to the learned Judicial Magistrate to consider the same and proceed further in accordance with law. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. 28.07.2023 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order gm 2/4
