O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all the members in the family agreed to repay the debts of the family from the amount received, pursuant to the award in LAOP and the respondent is harassing the petitioner, under the guise of the complaint given by one of the brothers of the petitioner, which is purely civil in nature. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking direction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that complaint has been received alleging that the petitioner cheated his family members and upon the complaint, CSR.No.259 of 2016 has been given and the same is pending.

5. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of this case, the 2nd respondent-Police is directed to enquire into the complaint and dispose of the matter in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner. The petitioner is also directed to cooperate for the enquiry.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
