ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S. BASKARAN, J. ] The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely, Slomiya, before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2. Today, the detenue has been produced before this Court by the second respondent police.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the detenue had left the home on 7.10.2016 and thereafter, she did not turn up. A complaint was lodged on 9.10.2016 and no effective steps had been taken by the respondents and therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

4. On enquiry, the detenue has stated that she had married one Hari at Shree Ponniyamma Devasthaman, Chittoor and produced a copy of the translated version of the receipt in English, dated 14.10.2016. She had also expressed her willingness to go along with the third respondent.

5. It is clear from the receipt, as well as from the affidavit filed in support of the impleading petition and from the photographs produced before this Court, the third respondent and the detenue had got married on 14.10.2016. As the detenue is a major, as her date of birth is 4.2.1997, and had expressed her willingness to go along with the third respondent, who is her husband, the detenue is permitted to go along with the third respondent, as per her wish.

In such circumstances, no further orders are necessary in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
