ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner seeks to espouse the cause of students who have successfully completed the JEE Aptitude Test and complied with the eligibility criteria to join the B.Arch. course for the academic year 2021-2022.

2. The petitioner claims to be a practising architect and a design educator. The petitioner was apparently a former member of the academic council of the Anna University and a principal architect at SVA Associates.

3. Whatever may be the petitioner's credentials and achievements, the present cause cannot be entertained by way of public interest. If any person has cleared any examination or is eligible to participate in any academic programme, it is such individual who has the cause of action to complain if impeded. Such a cause cannot be espoused by some other.

4. W.P.No.22774 of 2021 is not entertained. It is made clear that the merits of the matter have not been addressed. W.M.P.No.23999 of 2021 is closed. There will be no order as to costs.
