O R D E R

Petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the orders of the respondents 1 & 2 herein dated 24.06.2005 and 15.07.2006 respectively.

2. In and by the order of the respondents, the permission seeking licence to hold the 12 Bore SBBL gun which was originally granted to the petitioner's father was declined. The impugned order had been passed in the year 2006 and after the lapse of 12 years, the procedure for grant of licence to hold gun had been changed and the competent authority for the same is Commissioner of Police of the concerned City.

3. In view of the above, I do not find anything survives for further adjudication in this matter and if at all the petitioner has got any grievance, it is open to him approach https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the competent authority by way of appropriate application redressing his grievance. If such an application is made, it is for the authority to decide the same, on its own merits uninfluenced by any of the observations made in this writ petition.

4. With above observation this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
