ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2025 and to demarcate the petitioner's land and process the application for sub - division of patta in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.268/3 B situated at Kothandapuram Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that she is the absolute owner of the land comprised in Survey No.268/3B, including the residential house situated at Kothandapuram Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. It is stated that the petitioner acquired the property vide registered partition deed bearing No.380 of 2025 dated 14.02.2025, executed between the petitioner and her family members. It is further stated that pursuant 2/6
to the partition deed, revenue records were mutated in petitioner's name. Thereafter, petitioner had taken out an application along with representation on 22.05.2025 to survey and demarcate the subject land and has also paid the appropriate fees, the same is stated to be kept pending. Hence, this writ petition.

At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking survey and demarcation of subject land would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law after affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appropriate respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested persons/stake holders, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the 3/6
case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
