Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records issued by 2nd respondent in Memorandum No.271/PSD-A2/2022 dated 11.07.2024 and quash the same, consequently direct respondents 1 and 2
to issue the appointment order to the petitioner to the post of Junior cooperative Auditor as per the provisional appointment order in Memorandum No.271/PSD-A2/2022 dated 14.06.2024. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent dated 11.07.2024, thereby directed the petitioner to produce equivalent certificate.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent.
3. The petitioner is qualified with B.Com., Degree obtained through Distance Education. While being so, the second respondent issued notification dated 23.02.2022 for direct recruitment to various posts under Combined Civil Services Examination - II (Interview
Posts/Non-interview Posts). The petitioner is qualified for the post of Junior Co-operative Auditor in the Department of Co-operative Audit under the Backward Class category. The petitioner applied for the same and attended the written examination. She secured 126.75 marks. The petitioner was short listed for certificate verification and she was issued provisional appointment order on 14.06.2024.
4. While being so, on 11.07.2024, the second respondent informed the petitioner through e-mail to produce an equivalence Government order for her B.Com degree with optional subject Cost Accounts, equivalent to B.Com., Degree on or before 22.07.2024. Thereafter, the second respondent, by its communication dated 22.07.2024, informed the petitioner that the provisional selection of the petitioner to the post of Junior Co-operative Auditor in the Department of Co-operative Audit is held good.
5. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to issue appointment order to the petitioner for the post of Junior Cooperative Auditor in the Department of Co-operative Audit within a
period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
