Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from permitting and allowing erection and existence of any illegal hoardings, banners abutting the petitioner's property at No.54, Mosque Garden, East Jones Road, Saidapet, Chennai-15.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The matter in issue pertains to the removal of illegal hoardings.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that on entertainment of the writ petition, interim orders were granted and thereafter, the hoardings were removed and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

The Court heard the submissions of Mr.A.Nagarajan, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 3 and 4.

In the light of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition is closed as no further orders are necessary. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
