This application is filed to direct the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu ("AG & OT" for brevity) to lease out front portion measuring an extent of 150 sq.ft. in the property in Door No.247, R.K.Mutt Road, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004, with permission for the renovation of the said portion at his cost, on such terms as may be fixed by this Court.
2.A report has been submitted by the learned AG & OT indicating that the actual extent of the property is 252 sq.ft. and it is a commercial building in a potential locality near Kapaleeswarar Temple at Mylapore, Chennai. The report also indicates that the expected income from the property is around Rs.30,000/- per month. Having regard to the contents of the report, the learned counsel appearing for the applicant states that the applicant is not willing to accept the rent as expected by the learned AG & OT.
