This Contempt Petition is filed seeking to punish the Respondent for wilful disobedience of the order dated 01.02.2022 passed by this Court in Page No.1 of 4

W.P.No.1279 of 2022.

2.This Court vide its order dated 01.02.2022 disposed of the Writ Petition, permitted the petitioner to make a fresh application to the respondent for issuance of passport and if any such application is made by the petitioner, the respondent shall consider the same. Pursuant to which the petitioner made a fresh application and the same was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Contempt Petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent submitted that during the pendency of the Contempt Petition, the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.1279 of 2022 is complied with and the petitioner's representation has been rejected. A copy of the notice dated 28.09.2022, informing the petitioner regarding the rejection of his passport application was also produced before this Court. 4.Recording the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, this Contempt Petition is closed.
