Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second and third respondents to survey the land situated in bearing Plot No. 40, Shri Seenivasa Nagar, Kozhumanivakkam Village, Sriperumpudhur, Kancheepuram District, comprised in S. No. 9/1 and 9/2 morefully prescribed in S. No. 9/1A1A1 & 9/2A1A measuring to an extent of 600 sq.ft., within the Registration District of Chennai South and SubRegistration District of Kundrathur based on the representation and EChallan receipt dated 29.01.2024. This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the second and third respondents to survey the land situated at bearing Plot No. 40, Shri Seenivasa Nagar, Kozhumanivakkam Village, Sriperumpudhur, Kancheepuram District, comprised in S. No. 9/1 and 9/2, more fully described in S. No. 9/1A1A1 & 9/2A1A, measuring an extent of 600 sq.ft., 2/5

within the Registration District of Chennai South and Sub-Registration District of Kundrathur, based on the representation and E-Challan receipt dated 29.01.2024.

2. The petitioner paid the requisite fee and, on a perusal of the acknowledgement receipt, it reveals that the petitioner applied for the survey of the land comprised in Survey No. 9/6, measuring an extent of 0.0.55 hectares. However, in the Writ Petition, the petitioner sought direction to survey the land in Survey Nos. 9/1 and 9/2, measuring an extent of 600 sq.ft.

3. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit an application once again to conduct a survey for the correct property with the requisite fee. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the fifth and sixth respondents herein and conduct a survey in their presence, as per the documents produced by the parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No 3/5
