Respondents PRAYER: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to relocate/shift the location of bus stand which is proposed to be built/setup in front of the Sri Krishna Service Station at No.122, Arcot Road, Kodambakkam, Chennai - 600 024 to some other place.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to relocate or re-shift the bus stop about the Petrol bunk run by the petitioner. According to the petitioner, a board is kept which is creating difficulty for ever so many heavy vehicles that enters the petrol bunk.

2.Mr.G.Ameedias, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and made a statement on instructions that due to on going Metro Phase - II work, traffic has been diverted and some temporary arrangement has been made and that there is no plan for putting up a permanent bus stop at the said place.
3.The said statement of the learned counsel for the respondent is now recorded.
4.It may have to be stated when a development activity of the magnitude of a metro takes to happen, there will be certain inconvenience, which every citizen may have to feel. After all, it is intended for the development of citizen and the citizen may have to show some degree of patience and magnitude in accepting to this.
5.The only point now remains is where to fix the board to indicate the bus spot. This is something which the concerned Authority has to decide based on a field inspection.

6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
