This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 530 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the Judgment, dated 17.04.2018 in Spl.S.C.No.26 of 2017 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethimandran (FTMC), Vellore.

2. Mr.S.Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent did not raise any serious objection in allowing this petition and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order, and list the matter for admission. 01.08.2023 vum R.HEMALATHA, J.
