Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorari calling for the records of the impugned auction notice dated 07.06.2010 in Ni.Ma.No.932/2005-06 and Thava No.458/2002-03 issued by the second respondent herein for taking possession of the petitioners' property for public auction to be held on 28.07.2010 at about 11.30 a.m. for an extent of Punja Acre 0.15 cents and in survey numbers 75/1B, 75/1A, Maramangalathupatti Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District for a total extent of 10890 Square feet and constructed house area of 709 Square feet including Trees and Pathways and quash the same as illegal.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned auction notice dated 07.06.2010 in Ni.Ma.No.932/2005-06 and Thava No.458/2002-03 issued by the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Since there is no representation for the petitioners repeatedly, on 02.08.2017, this Court directed the Registry to post the matter 'for dismissal' on 07.08.2017. Today also, when the matter was called, none appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

3. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
