ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition as "The petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Pattukottai Police Station, daily at 10.00 am, instead of "The petitioner shall sign before the respondent police twice a day at 10.30 am, and 5.30 pm, for a period of eight weeks" in the order dated 17.03.2026 made in Crl.O.P.No.6806 of 2026 on the file of this

Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly.

3. Considering the submissions made on either sides and the nature of the offence, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No. 6806 of 2026 dated 17.03.2026. Accordingly, the condition that "The petitioner shall sign before the respondent police twice a day at 10.30 am, and 5.30 pm, for a period of eight weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation" is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Coimbatore for a period of 30 days. The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
