2. However, Mr.S.Y. Masood, learned Counsel appearing for Bar Council of Tamil Nadu would submit that the Writ Petition has been filed against the order passed by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu on 20.06.2009 based on the complaint given by the third respondent, by which the petitioner was suspended from practice for three years.

3. The order was passed on 20.06.2009 and almost, more than 9 years have passed. Therefore, the suspension period is already over. In view of that, the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellanous petition is closed.
