The Petitioner herein, who is a named accused in Crime No.24 of 2024 dated 15.02.2024 registered on the direction of the Principal 1/4

Sessions Judge, Puducherry, is before this Court to quash the complaint which is under investigation.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner referring the statements of the witnesses submits that no material disclose commission of cognizable offence.

This Court is of the view that once the Judicial Magistrate has applied his mind and passed speaking order under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., directing the police to register the complaint and investigate, it is appropriate to allow the Investigating Officer to conduct investigation in the manner known to law and file report before the the Judicial Magistrate who has directed to investigate. Under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the High Court should not interfere in the domain of the investigation unnecessarily.
