This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.74 of 2026 on the file of the 1st respondent Police. 2.Mr.A.Amarnath, learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side), appearing for the 1st respondent Police, submits that, in this case, a charge sheet has been filed online on 25.04.2026 before the IX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai, vide Central Charge Sheet Number 2991405326007401.

3.Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh petition to quash the charge sheet. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh petition seeking to quash the charge sheet.
