The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 02.07.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 307 & 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.364 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, petitioners are accused in Crime No.364 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 307 & 506(i) of IPC. Petitioners are in judicial custody from 02.07.2023. Thus, he prays for grant of bail.

3. In response, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is a previous enmity between the de-facto complainant and the accused. On 22.04.2023, at about 11.30 p.m., the accused Mahendra babu had come to the room of the de-facto complainant. When de-facto complainant, his friends and hindi speaking boys were having food, accused Mahendra babu threatened them that they should not work there from tomorrow. mpl Pandi. As a result, they are seriously injured. Surendhran is discharged from the hospital and Pandi is still taking treatment as inpatient.

4. Considering the nature of the incident and that one of the injured is still taking treatment as in-patient and that investigation in this case is not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
