O R D E R

The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to extend the time for the petitioner to surrender before the concerned jurisdictional Court within a period of fifteen days from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order, pursuant to the orders passed by the Court in Crl.O.P.No.11635 of 2025 dated 17.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. As per Section 15-A(3)(5) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act [hereinafter referred to as 'SC/ST Act'] 2 / 5

notice has to be sent to the victim, in respect of any proceedings and without giving notice, no proceedings shall be proceeded further.

4. In the case on hand, since it is the case under the SC/ST Act, this Court while passing the order on 17.04.2025 has clearly given directions to the Court below to consider the bail application of the petitioner after affording opportunity of hearing to the victim and granted 15 days time to surrender before the Court below. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to extend the time as sought for by the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
