O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G. RAMESH,J.) Heard Mr.P.Murali, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.P.S.Sivashanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. These Writ Petitions are filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioners' application pertaining to issuance of S.T.Hindu Kurumans Community Certificate to the children of the petitioners.
3. Mr.P.S.Sivashanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, who was directed to take notice for the respondents, submits that 2nd respondent is the competent authority to issue ST community certificate.
4. In the light of the said submission, we direct the 3rd respondent to forward the application already preferred by the petitioners to the 2nd respondent, who in turn, is directed to consider the applications dated 22.04.2015, 24.06.2015 and 24.04.2015 respectively preferred by the petitioners and after verification of the documents substantiated by the petitioners and after holding due enquiry, pass necessary orders regarding issuance of community certificate, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
